Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Will be Coming to India
The much anticipated Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL — a follow-up to last year’s Google Pixel and Pixel XL is quite a drastic change from what the brand offered earlier. However, there hasn’t been much of a change when it comes to the design. The new-generation Pixel devices come with powerful hardware and are enabled with a new feature called Active Edge, where you can squeeze the phone to trigger many activities, including turning the front camera on. Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will retail in India at a starting price of Rs 61,000 and Rs 73,000, respectively.
Pixel Buds Might Not Come to India
Along with the Pixel 2, the company has also announced its first wireless earbuds. Named as Google Pixel Buds, this pair of wireless earphones have a slew of cool features to offer. The buds enable users to access Google Assistant with just a tap. All you have to do is tap on the right earbud and give the commands. Whether it’s sending a text message, playing music or asking for new directions, everything that Apple users would have expected, the Pixel Buds are providing it. Sadly, the Pixel buds might not see light in the Indian market. The official Google store has no mention of it and if you look at the US store all the products from the Google product launch are listed there.
No Pixelbook and the Pixelbook Pen Either
Quite similar to the Pixel Buds, Google might also give the new PixelBook a miss when it comes to India. Pixelbook is a smart Chromebook, which lets you do everything the latter did, and in addition, it also lets you create and discover on a touchscreen. The Google Pixelbook looks like a cross between Lenovo’s Yoga laptop and Microsoft’s Surface book. It sports a 12.3-inch display, a wider trackpad, and bigger keys. The Google Pixelbook is the first laptop to include built-in Google Assistant. It also includes a Pen! It comes with 10 milliseconds of latency, 60° angular awareness, and 2000+ levels of pressure sensitivity. Like most tech enthusiasts in the country, we hope these products get to hit the shelves in the Indian market sooner than never. Fingers crossed!
